Club career
In 1961, he made his professional debut with Udinese and quickly showcased his exceptional talent between the goalposts. His remarkable performances captured the attention of bigger clubs, leading in 1963 to a move to Mantova (in the club's highdays), and later Napoli.
However, it was at Juventus where Zoff truly flourished. Joining the Turin-based club in 1972, he became an integral part of their success story.
World Cup triumphs
In 1970, at the tender age of 28, Zoff made his World Cup debut. Although Italy couldn't secure the title that year, it set the stage for their future successes.
Twelve years later, in Spain, Zoff showcased his exceptional skills by conceding only two goals throughout the entire tournament. As the captain and a key figure in Italy's squad, Zoff played an instrumental role in leading his team to their third World Cup trophy. Zoff became an icon, not only for his goalkeeping abilities but also for his calm and composed demeanor on and off the field.

With a career spanning over two decades, Zoff held the record as Italy's most capped player with 112 appearances for the national team for nearly three decades until Gianluigi Buffon surpassed it. Additionally, Zoff boasts an incredible streak of not conceding a single goal for 1,142 minutes in international matches – a record that still stands today.
Life after retirement
Following his illustrious playing career, Dino Zoff transitioned into the world of coaching. Renowned for his calm demeanor and tactical acumen, Zoff honed his coaching skills at various clubs in Italy. Notably, he guided Juventus to several domestic and international successes, including a Serie A title and European Cup triumph.
