Huddersfield Town is an English football club that once were one of the strongest clubs in the country. In the 1920s they was top three in the First Division at six occasions and reached the FA Cup final three times.

History

Huddersfield Town AFC (Association Football Club) was founded in 1908. They become a member of the Football League 1910 and has since when claimed three league titles: 1924, 1925, 1926. In addition to that, Huddersfield has won the FA Cup four times.

They have played in the top league many seasons, but after losing the place after season 1971-72 the fans had to wait until the 2017-18 season for the clubs return to the highest league.
